It is our great hope for you to thoroughly enjoy your TOPDOG FIREWORKS, please follow the following guidelines.
- CHILDREN SHOULD NOT HANDLE FIREWORKS.
NEVER ALLOW CHILDREN TO HANDLE, PLAY WITH, OR LIGHT ANY FIREWORK. ONLY ADULTS SHOULD HANDLE AND LIGHT FIREWORKS. Your fireworks can be superb family fun, but they burn extremely hot and are intended at all times to be handled by adults.
- DO NOT USE ALCOHOL WITH FIREWORKS.
Do not consume any alcohol while lighting or handling fireworks. Fireworks are to be used only by individuals who are not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you are impaired in any way while handling fireworks, you increase the possibility of injury to yourself and others.
- OBEY THE LAW.
Follow all laws regarding the possession and use of fireworks, use common sense when using fireworks. Read directions, cautions, labels, and warnings on each individual firework item to understand the product and the hazards associated with it. Use only fireworks permitted by law within the jurisdiction of its use.
- USE FIREWORKS ON A HARD SURFACE.
Always light fireworks on a hard, flat, and level surface. Grass is not suitable for any item. (A flat wooden board is a recommended shooting surface.)
- USE IN AN OPEN AREA.
Keep the audience (and particularly children) a safe distance away from the shooting area. Light your fireworks in a clear open area far away from buildings, vehicles, shrubbery and trees. A minimum clear radius of 50 feet for fountains and other ground based items and over 100 yards for any aerial product is highly recommended. You must avoid lighting any fireworks in an area near flammable items. Never use fireworks indoors. Also never shoot fireworks in metal or glass containers.
- ALWAYS REMAIN CLEAR OF THE FIREWORKS.
Never put your head or any part of your body over the top of any fireworks product. Never look into a tube to check on the firework item. Never hold a lighted firework item in your hand. Keep as far from the firework as possible before, during and after lighting.
- USE CARE WHILE IGNIGHTING FIREWORKS.
Always light fireworks one at a time using a punk, or an extended butane lighting device. This will enable you to keep as far from the firework item as possible. If appropriate, use a flashlight at night for the fuse may be seen; never use a flame-producing device near fireworks for illumination. Light the fireworks product and get away quickly. Respect the fireworks, when used improperly they can be dangerous.
- DON'T USE MALFUNCTIONING OR NON-FUNCTIONING ITEMS.
Never re-light, alter, or fix any non-functioning firework item. If a firework item does not ignite, let it stand for at least ten minutes, then immerse in water.
- HAVE WATER CLOSE BY.
Have a fire extinguisher or water supply very close by for emergencies. During any shoot, there always should be an individual assigned whose job is to prepare for any emergency.
- WINDY CONDITIONS.
Fireworks should not be ignited during high wind conditions. Fireworks are to be lit with the wind blowing away from the spectators. If there is a wind shift during, rearrange the shooting site to accommodate or stop shooting until the windy conditions subside.
- USE CARE WHILE HANDLING FIREWORKS.
Do not carry fireworks in your pocket or on your person. Keep the Fireworks in a closed container before ignition. Always conduct yourself with care while handling fireworks and prevent dropping them. Never aim, point, or throw any fireworks at another person or at any property. Also never smoke while in close proximity of Fireworks or during handling.
- STORAGE
Store fireworks in a cool, dry place and dispose of fireworks appropriately.

FIREWORKS ARE ONLY INTENDED FOR OUTDOOR USE.
Only use Fireworks outdoors under safe conditions.
- PURCHASE FIREWORKS FROM RELIABLE DEALERS.
It is extremely important that you only purchase your fireworks from a reliable, licensed and accredited dealer. This type of dealer will only provide products that meet or exceed those standards set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. It is highly unlawful and dangerous to use illegal explosives or alter any firework.
- SAFETY GLASSES.
Safety glasses are to be worn by those individuals lighting the fireworks and all individuals within the area.
- BE MINDFUL OF ALL PET’S AND ANIMALS.
The noise and lights of fireworks frighten many animals, it is very important that you are careful with pets and farm animals. Consider moving the animals prior to your display.
- THE TRANSPORTATION OF FIREWORKS UPON AIRPLANES IS NOT ALLOWED
It is a federal violation of aviation law to bring any fireworks device onto an airplane. Do not attempt to carry any firework onto an airplane by your person or in luggage.
